Add A Little Punch To Your Tips

On these hot summer days, there's nothing like a refreshing drink to cool you down. For me, it's a frozen pink lemonade. So why not spice up my fingertips with something a little on the fruity side as well. Here's a nice little summer drink inspired mani. It's super similar to the Lemonade inspired mani I did, with a little more punch to it.

What You Need

Nicole By OPI Hit The Lights (or any bright yellow)
Orly Neon Heat  (or any neon pink)
Makeup Sponge triangles
Nail polish remover
Felt Squares or Cotton Pads/Balls

As per usual start off with your preferred peel off or latex protective barrier around the skin on your nails. While that's drying, go ahead and apply your base coat and a coat of a white base, just to make your gradient pop.

When both the nail polish and the peel off barrier has dried, apply a coat of yellow polish to the sponge and then apply a coat of pink, overlapping just a bit. Sponge polish onto mani, overlapping a little more to make sure you have a nice gradient.

After you've finished applying the colors to your nails, use the clear stamper and a good white polish to stamp the lemons onto your nails, sealing them all in with a thick top coat once they've dried. Use a cleanup brush around the cuticles for easy cleanup.

That's it for the mani, make sure to do what you can to stay cool these hot summer days. Love you guys!

  1. This gradient is everything and that stamp is the icing on the cake! Beautiful manicure! During the summer, I stay inside. Nothing like the good ol' A/C! I'm not a fan of the heat at all.

    1. I try to as well. Except a couple of weeks ago our a/c broke and the repair guy couldn't make it out for a couple of days because everyone was having issues with their units. It was 100% in Florida so it happens but it was awful lol
