Review: Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water

Hello my loves! Today I bring you a review on something I bought a while ago. I'm actually lagging on this review because this is the second bottle I've purchased of this. It's that good.

I'll be honest and say that I've tried a couple of Garnier skin products before and I've been a bit of a fan. They usually work well with my skin-type and as far as store brands go, they've been ahead of the curve when it comes to new beauty products. I remember they were one of the first store brands to come out with a BB creme as well as a blurring primer. I think this is one of the first store brand micellar cleansing water, since Bioderma's version came out and became so popular. Is it a dupe? That I don't know, since I've never tried the Bioderma one. Once I do try it out, I'll let you know. In the meantime, I'll stick with Garnier's version.

What is Micellar Water? Micellar water is teeny tiny cleansing oil bubbles (micelles) floating around in soft water. Why is micellar water good for you? Most cleansing agents contain sulfates, which can leave your skin dry. Micellar water is literally made up of oil and water so it's not harsh on your skin, it can leave you refreshed and since it's not too oily, it doesn't leave your face as greasy as other makeup removing products do.

I wear pretty medium-heavy coverage foundation most days and this took it off with my cleansing towel nicely. I went back over my face with another clean towel and there was no visible makeup residue on it. It left my face feeling a little oilier than normal, but i expected that being that it's an oil. My face has also been a little on the drier side these days and I noticed the dry patches, especially around my nose, go away after using this.

I would definitely purchase this again, once my second bottle is done. It makes cleaning my face so easy and at $6.99, you really can't beat the price.

Have you tried any micellar cleansing water? Let me know in the comments below! Love you guys!
