Flashback Friday: Mac's Comic Cute

Hola my loves! Hope you had a festive Cinco de Mayo! And if you did, hope you have today off! Today I bring you another flashback on this Friday, MAC's Comic Cute. I got this polish during MAC's Archie Girls launch.

From the jump, I didn't really like the formula. It was thin and streaky and I needed 4 coats to get true opacity. I put this polish away because it was a little frustrating to work with. Three years later, I tried it again.

I love MAC when it comes to makeup. They've always had a stellar color range for all skin tones and the quality of the products are usually top knotch. Except for when it comes to their nail polishes. I love some of the colors but the formula has always been kind of shit and way overpriced for what it is.

Comic Cute is a really pretty corall-y pink creme that, three years later, still needs 4 coats to become opaque. It is a very thin polish that goes on very streaky. Wear time was OK, peeled off after a couple of days.

This is going back on the shelf for me. The color, although really pretty and beautiful under a floral stamp, isn't really worth the hassle.

Love you guys!

-Cristina
